Discover Bermuda through its art at The Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, a vibrant collection of traditional and contemporary art. Founded in 1987, the MMOBA collection found its permanent home in 2008 when a 19th century arrowroot factory was restored and converted into a bright and airy art gallery. Roam along the halls to find an ever-changing display of works, ranging from Georgia O’Keeffe and Henry Moore, to local Bermudian artists and the work of the current artist in residence. Upstairs, a cosy reading room offers a quiet corner to enjoy a vast selection of literature. The “Arrowroot Gift Shop” has an array of ornate souvenirs, and the gallery cafe provides a tranquil spot for a tasty drink.
