Sea Glass Beach, Hamilton
(3.7/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Long ago Bermudians would toss their colored glass bottles offshore, unaware that it was the path towards the creation of Sea Glass Beach. Years of rough surf have broken the glass up into small pieces, smoothing its edges to look like little colorful gems, and returned it to shore in large heaps. Take a walk along the beach and admire the array of hues, shapes, and textures. While not the best choice for swimming, the quiet beach lets you escape the crowds and enjoy the view of turquoise water backed by grassy cliffs. Note that the beach prohibits taking glass from the site. Using our international travel planner, Hamilton attractions like Sea Glass Beach can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.
