Shelly Bay Beach, Hamilton Parish

Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
Wade into the tranquil ocean at Shelly Bay Beach, a small stretch of coast with calm, shallow water. You can walk out into it a good distance before having to swim, making this a good beach to go to if traveling with young children. Consider snorkeling around the rocks at either end of the bay, in the hopes of spotting some marine life. What it lacks in amenities, the beach makes up in its quiet, local atmosphere. Shelly Bay Beach is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Hamilton Parish Edition.

  • Beautiful beach, very quiet. Very shallow for quite a way out so would be good for children. Also there is a small park next to it with childrens swings.
  • This is the place for a quiet beach not over crowded and the wave is calm and the beach is very flat. I like the trees close to the shore to have some shades and privacy.
  • This is within walking distance from where my daughter lives so it is go to beach for a quick swim. Calm crystal clear water. On a windy day, good place to kite surf.
