  • We stopped on the way to Caracol. Pretty amazing cave but short – easy to explore either going up high or low. Note that it is free but it is a long bumpy drive. 
  • Do not make a special trip to see this. My guess is that 100% of visitors swing by this on their way to or from Caracol. In that case, it's worth it. Pretty neat cave, but nothing super special. 
  • The river runs through the cave, and there are openings to the outside on both ends. It's more like a very big open tunnel. Because of the openings, you get a lot of sunlight inside the cave to see de...  more »

  • Ofcourse i was one of the tourist who didnt have a headlamp for the mile long swim in the dark. Lol very cool experience!
