  • Easily accessible and something to do when you want a break from the usual Belize adventure activities  more »
  • Hike to do on your own without a guide. A brisk walk in the forest with a natural swimming pool blue where you can go for a swim to cool off! Cost of entry very ridiculous!

  • Without a doubt, one of the biggest attractions of Belize. In our case, as we are divers, was a mandatory stop on our itinerary. The Blue hole is the place most emblematic of Belize, is a circular formation of approximately 470 meters deep, which is located about 100 miles of the San pedro Cayo (2 hours 30 minutes by boat). Diving is a diving depth (in our case arrived at 135 feet) and therefore the immersion lasts no more than 25 minutes (counting the decompression stop). Below are some formations of stalactites and some that another fish, but it is not for this reason that diving, diving is an emblematic and mystical place, diving by the impressive abyss forming it, diving and diver definitely is a great experience habe r dived the blue hole. I can't deny that the experience is a bit frightening and enough care (not recommended for divers with less experience than an Advanced - advanced) but it is worthwhile to do so, as life experience. In our case, we were with a tour of the AQUA MOTORS company and it went very well, the dive masters (his name is Ghandi) it was all very professional and we toast the information security we needed to have a safe dive. All the time he was aware of the Group and we did not have any problem. After this dive, we made a second dive in the vicinity and was also wonderful, we had the opportunity to dive next to several reef sharks (approaching almost to be able to touch them), in warm and crystalline waters (one of the) best dives we had). We could also see some groupers and very nice stripes. Tour we do has 3 dives, at blue hole 1 and 2 to its surroundings, after the second dive, is an island in the park find name and is having lunch on the beach (excellent seasoning), post-it is the last dive and the return (Of journey is undertaken (pray a rum punch to make a little more pleasant return trip). The price is high, but definitely the investment worth, we pay $250 ($ 500 Belizean) each, more $40 dollars by the entrance to the Park (compulsory) for a total of $290 per American, tour It begins at 5:30 am at your hotel, where you pick up and ends at 5:30 pm approximately. They include a small breakfast of fruits and coffee, almuerzo(Muy buena saz├│n y abundante) and a cocktail for the return, 3 dives and diving equipment. The tour can also be done if only going to snorkel (Caretear) and the price is $ 190 + $40 of the Park: $ 230.

  • This is a wonderful place as it is situated just 200 ft. off the Hummingbird Highway. It is a sinkhole filled with water that reaches to unknown depths. You can bring your bathing suits and take a dip in the warm water. From the blue hole is a trail leading to St. Herman's Cave, an extensive cave system.
  • Nice little park with trails, interpretive signs & displays, and a refreshing blue pool for cool dips on hot days. The water is not especially cold.
  • Friendly and knowledgeable guide, breathtaking scenery and great memories
  • Cool spot to swim. There's also a cave to visit
  • Beautiful nature, but the blue hole itself is nonsense. Overrated.
