  • I went to the community baboon sanctuary as part of a tour in Belize, and it was one of the 3 top things we did - the guide was lovely, funny and knowledgeable and took us into part of the rain forest...  more »
  • The tour itself costs 7$ US and lasts about 30 minutes. The ladies at the office who also guide the tour are fantastic - knowledgeable and helpful - really interested in their NGO project. The monkeys...  more »
  • Take a walk through the forest where you can see howler monkeys really close. The place is run by people who are really passionate about getting people to know, appreciate and respect the environment....  more »

  • $10 us a person spend 5 min to see the monkeys, I will not do it again, I will give 0 stars, I have better encounters with monkeys at fairs in the US, finish paying $50 us for 5min adventure with my kids, go to Mexico have better monkey encounters, for a quarter of the price! (Not worted the money)
  • Love this site, place to visit go for it but make sure you go the Community baboon Sanctuary they give back to the community ...
  • Support local ecoconservation by stopping by. This is totally worth the $7 US. You will be face to face with the howler monkeys. Russell took us and we learned so much about the animals and local plants.
  • This place was awesome, the tour guide was extremely informative about the land and what things nature has to offer for humans and its surrounding to what natives used back in the past. The Baboon ( howler monkeys) themselves were incredible they travel in packs of about 6 to 8. The gentleman that gave the tour was an older man I dont remember his name but highly suggest him.
  • Very nice. 30 min nature walk with Geraldine for USD 7. Saw some monkeys, leaf cutter ants, and lots of medicinal plants.
