  • You feel, smell, and gets emotional with the place. The mountain lion memorial and the Museum of Wellington count and reminiscent of the story and the real facts of the battle of Waterloo. Reports of other travellers already count as is the place, so I don't have much to add. I'm going to give you some tips on how to go to the site. First, don't go on Sunday because the bus doesn't spend every hour. Second, get ready because you have to walk and or have a lot of patience to catch the bus. Third, if u want to go only to the Memorial and the mountain lion, you have to get off at the train station "Braine-I Alled ´" and take the bus "W", or go walking for 2 km (warning = has no signage, take a map). Fourth, I went on a Sunday and went down in Waterloo Station (has a map at the station) and walked half a mile to the Duke of Wellington Museum and then another 5 km until you reach the Memorial or take the bus "W" or 365. And buy ticket combo because it is the most account for EUR 19.00 for 3 attractions. I didn't have time to go to the Napoleon's headquarters because it was raining a lot and over 4 km where we were far away, it's a shame. I hope I helped.

  • Father and son total visited 3 of the 4 memorials, just not the Wellington museum. The Hill offers a very nice view over the battlefield with the lion. The increase is fast and is not strenuous, even if everything has come down slightly. Nice, but the new Museum is a "must see"!
