  • The place that lost the battle of Waterloo to Napoleon...! Visit fast, a little disappointing, but a superb film / video and editing on the battle! It's worth to stop, with the shuttle that can take you from the Memorial!

  • Nice place, kept close to its appearance in 1815 but renovated. Beautiful event regarding the Scottish Days 1st edition. Good atmosphere, Highland games, concerts, entertainment, excellent food.

  • This was the highlight of our trip to Belgium. The 3D theatre show is amazing and breath taking. I would recommend this attraction to family and friends.
  • This is history. Visited over ten years ago. It looked almost exactly the same as paintings/drawings of the battle. So little had changed (e.g. window frames at the main gate). Quite a sobering experience that so many fought and died here.
  • A place to be seen trying to imagine the horrors of those days. Not to be missed when you are in brussels
  • Because 18 June 1815 201 years ago was fought the decisive battle of Napoleon Bonaparte, Waterloo. Here in this step you could admire Napoleon's army and the anglo-Prussian army (led by the Duke of Wellington and General Blücher) fight against the French. Most of the walls of the anglo-Prussian army have been built by the Hougoumont. And this in my opinion is a very important cultural heritage.

  • Place steeped in history, well restored on the occasion of the bicentenary of the battle of Waterloo. A place to visit.
