  • The place is very well maintained and fitted out: the cross and stars of David are aligned with different lawns that surround a place of Ecumenical meditation. Lawns surrounded by trees and flowers give the scene a particularly peaceful and respectful atmosphere. Some graves are flowering by some citizens of the town of Waregem, including the graves of soldiers who, in french, would be unknown but which, in English, are known to God alone. A visit to recommend before moving on to the hose of the death in Diksmuide.

  • Without a doubt, one of the most moving experiences I've had in recent years in visiting a cemetery. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the staff informative and knowledgable and accessible, and the dead are revered with the highest of respect at this impressive and hallowed ground. Makes me proud to be an American.
  • Having been to many of the American Cemetery in Europe, I enjoyed walking around this one. It is the smallest of the ABMC. The parking lot is very small. That would be the only downside. Still nice place to visit and pay your respects.
  • We've been here twice for Memorial Day observances. Very small compared to most WW1 cemeteries, but just as well done and moving as any other.
  • Beautiful war cemetery
  • Visited Memorial Day 2001! Simply amazing an beautiful!
