  • Beautiful building, inside exudes calm. A guestbook is available at the entrance, a glance at the comments left by visitors gives you an overview of the feeling of each.

  • Like all Romanesque churches, there is very little decoration inside. However, the dimensions are quite well balanced and this gives this church a pleasant feel.
  • When one stands on the Grand Place in Tournai and look at the Église Saint-Quentin, thinking it might immediately that this modest church probably is not something special, but when you come into the room, you will be surprised how much the Church actually is over also. Seen from Grand Place visions the not by very much. The Church was built in about 1200 in the Romanesque style. It is not a Basilica, there is only a single main ship, but at the top of the Church is that both the transept and choir, there is a round behind again with chapels separated by pillars. Church organ is located at the cross-ship. Saint-Quentin belong to the churches to which interested in ecclesiastical art and Church culture absolutely must visit when you are in the fine city of Tournai.

  • Simple and ascetic Temple without the interesting details in the decoration. The outside looked like a small castle.
