  • Definitely worth a visit, there are fixed works of art, but every so often there are other exhibitions. Many with movements and a fun place to have a drink as well. You bet a number of hours to make.

  • The Verbeke Foundation is located on a large site with lots to explore, both inside and outside. We came for the exhibition movement but have Moved much more given. At the beach there are demonstrations of movement Moved beasts of Theo Jansen. On the large outdoor area, there is plenty of room for special assemblies. It's not there Moody FES. Great!

  • Visit a family with 3 children between 9 and 12. The museum seems to be a hodgepodge of lots of things, but if you dive, then you discover one after the other. It is chaotic and unfinished but the picture is correct. The children have so enjoyed all there is to see, both inside and outside. The exhibition around movement captivated us beyond measure. There were installations where you actually hours could look at it. The strandbeesten we found great. The demonstration captivated us. The children loved the very fine that there was talk about the works of art as if they were living beings. Also what they could see outside they found very fine. The fact that they can walk around here and there, well what can be, very much touch them and not the tight rules apply from a traditional museum, is grandiose. In short ... a top day!

  • This has to be one of the oddest places I've visited. I loved the exhibition on Theo Jansen's strandbeesten. I could happily have missed the dead animal parts and the dead fly patterns, but I'm happy to support such an interesting place.
  • A museum like you haven't seen it before. Very big, lots of unconventional art. Kinda shabby and sometimes dirty but that is part of the aesthetic and philosophy of the place so it's cool
  • amazing museum!
  • Belgian surrealism is still alive. A magic place filled with art. Think Of Brazilian Inhotim but more basic and with less luxury. Overnight in the giant sculpture of the human digestive system by Joep van Lieshout.
  • A fun experience!
