SURPRISE :) Beautiful discovery of the way of life in the eighteenth century (not good from the point of view of the people). Upstairs, in may 2017, exhibition on curiosity. Informative (use your smartphone or Tablet for more explanations and music or story). At 12 o'clock, we go to the orangerie... a few tables occupied at the terrace. 3 people to serve: at the desk, in room and unedame to the terrace. A few free tables. "You have reservations?" "Nope". "Ah, but I have 150 reservations,.." "I will answer you in a few minutes". "Good I will serve you after 150 reservations,.." We ran it!
An enjoyable visit. The grounds are extensive, the chateau is obviously renovated, but with an interesting permanent exhibition on life in the 18th century, and a temporary exhibition on gardens in the 18th century.
The Park is splendid. Rejuvenating a natural setting. The English garden. Masterful fountain. Scope of nature and style. The Museum is worth a visit too. From time to time, art installations are taking place. The colonnades are a nice place for poetic pictures... Newlyweds also regularly show their love to the castle of Seneffe...
