Can you imagine the life in a castle of the 18th century. The aristocracy and family habits. You will discover timeless decorations. Intimate habits that you couldn't even imagine today. Dreams of princes and princesses. Impressive dishes. A spacious park. And make the life easier, there is a large car park next door. There is also, on a regular basis, the events theme. Just stay informed! People travel from far away to visit this beautiful place.

This is a remarkable Castle in every way: a splendid Park of exemplary buildings, authentic furniture, magnificent collections of silverware. And a friendly staff to accompany your visit. Will be held on 23 and 24 September the thinker book fair, at the Orangerie. A literary meeting which is a good preptexte to visit the castle of Seneffe and its dependencies. All info on the web...

The children rejoice from their visit. It is possible to rent a Tablet for € 3 or use their smartphone. At each visited room a question, 3 choices of answers and a Word to find out eventually. This word, the child quote hospitality and... SURPRISE :) Beautiful discovery of the way of life in the eighteenth century (not good from the point of view of the people). Upstairs, in may 2017, exhibition on curiosity. Informative (use your smartphone or Tablet for more explanations and music or story). At 12 o'clock, we go to the orangerie... a few tables occupied at the terrace. 3 people to serve: at the desk, in room and unedame to the terrace. A few free tables. "You have reservations?" "Nope". "Ah, but I have 150 reservations,.." "I will answer you in a few minutes". "Good I will serve you after 150 reservations,.." We ran it!

An enjoyable visit. The grounds are extensive, the chateau is obviously renovated, but with an interesting permanent exhibition on life in the 18th century, and a temporary exhibition on gardens in the 18th century.

The Park is splendid. Rejuvenating a natural setting. The English garden. Masterful fountain. Scope of nature and style. The Museum is worth a visit too. From time to time, art installations are taking place. The colonnades are a nice place for poetic pictures... Newlyweds also regularly show their love to the castle of Seneffe...
