  • Being on holiday in the region for the Thanksgiving holiday, we visited the castle with my husband on Thursday. We found excellent compulsory tour. A theatrical, humorous spirit and with a group dynamic. Given the quality, we returned the weekend with our children and grandchildren come join us to discover the site. Unfortunately, the guide was no longer the same and we had a lady. The more classic tour see annoying especially for small children due to the historical explanations too pointed and a visit over 1.5 hours instead of 1 h the first time.

  • Guided tour (compulsory) € 8 for about 1 h 30 comments full of ardor and enthusiastic explanation by a bilingual guide (FR - NL) itself passionate, and so necessarily interesting. Very preserved site and reconstitution of the smart Castle, which are worth visiting.

  • Beautiful surroundings, Castle from outside looks nice, but unfortunately it was closed. This was not clearly marked and the phone was not included. Open in school holidays, please note these are Belgian holidays and that are not listed on the brochure or website. It is a short walk from the parking lot so we very baalden that it was closed. The path is difficult for people who are less agile. The path runs downhill with loose gravel.

  • A very beautiful residential castle/chateau situated in a beautiful valley. The castle itself oozes history from the middle ages like the strong Catholic beliefs and lifestyles from 500 years ago. If you like artifacts and appreciate architecture from the middle ages this is a great place to visit. The castle can only be visited with their tour guide, luckily they have excellent tour guides.

  • Beautiful surroundings and beautiful castle to see ... from outside ... 15 min a steep slope walking to get there (and back again) We would have liked the tour want to do within the Castle, but info on the internet does not match what is on a sign State upon arrival. Three times for nothing. They give but a tour twice a day during the week and manifest only during BELGIAN school holidays. When that is, you need a tourist on apparently figure out in advance. Very poor communication so, too bad.
