  • This is a very nice Gothic building, restored to its original state. The interiors are also very nice with original wall paintings. The Town Hall also owns a large collection of Oudenaarde tapestries. Oudenaarde was during the middle ages an important center of the production of tapestries. Verdures called the green color that was widely used. Finally, there is the collection of Old Creole silverware. This collection shows sacral as world's silver that was made in Oudenaarde. This is a collection at top level and the only one of its kind.
