  • Magnificent Abbey, in a lovely wooded setting. This visit is worth the trip. It is a very quiet place, with good prospects, visiting the ruins of several small museums... The visit ends with the Abbey. In the negatives, we will still retain the coldness of staff at reception and shop: we have been a Monday in February, this explains can be this but anyway. At least a smile, especially in such a place would be appreciated!

  • The Abbey is beautiful and the space memories worth detour also. The visit leaves a little view hungry you can especially see the outside.

  • This Abbey is surrounded by woods. The tour allows you to visit the ruins and the Museum in the old cellars. This museum allows to discover ancient stones and objects dating for some centuries. Leaving stop you at the store to buy beer and cheese from orval. You will not be disappointed.

  • Fantastic photo opportunities, but stupid people who constantly walk into your photographs!
  • Architecturally this place is a magnificent sight between the soft hills of the Belgian Ardennes. Be sure to visit the museum and shop where you can buy several products including the revered Orval Trappist beer!
  • Beautiful abbey. Great beer and cheeses. After a nice long walk, go drink an Orval, then join the monks at 8 pm for their last preyers of the day.
  • Great place to have some peace and quiet. Very beautiful too.
  • A must seen, when you travel this part of the country.
