  • Very comprehensive exhibition on the wartime on the West coast between 1914-1918. Even people who knew little or nothing of the war, get a clear picture how both the strategic and the very human condition there when looked

  • Before we visited the museum Western front we had to take to the famous statue of Albert I on his horse. The entrance of the museum was very bad. The US actually fell personally. One leaves on a large oval movie screen a drawing of the battle fields with occasional thumbnail to see larger photo via a photo or a small black and white movie. However, if you the museum "Flanders Fields" in Ypres have seen, this presentation really isn't that much for. It pays us to the museum with the elevator to go up to there on the big round walkway to get a nice view on the Goose leg locks, the surroundings and the sea.

  • History buffs, do not miss this monument recently renovated. In addition to the memorial, you will find a museum worth visiting for lovers. No inappropriate nostalgia, but the memory of events that significantly shaped the history of our country. Located near the locks hence is part the the flood that blocked the advance of the German troops, this place is worth the trip. .
