The Museum is of a very high standard with permanent collections and exhibitions always original and well documented. Location of research in different historical areas with a recognized scientific team abroad, it also has a valuable library of foreground visited only by appointment. Recommend warmly.show original

A friend told me to visit this museum that is very unknown. Only 40 minutes from Brussels, I thought it was a good place to go on my birthday. So we did. The temporary exhibition with etches of Rops, Klinger, Kubin and Simon was mind blowing great. And the permanent collection also was a real adventure. The fact that not a lot of people know of this museum is also great, because you can wander around and discover the collection at ease. The park and botanical garden and it's statues were a real delight. And a lot of history to explore too. Really great!

Richard WeringA very pleasant place between art and a beautiful English landscape garden. The collection has a number of special pieces such as frescoes from Pompeii. It focuses on classical antiquity. In the garden there are a few more bronze statues of Jeff Lambeaux which is very worthwhile.show original
