  • The Museum was built on the estate bequeathed by Raoul Warocqué and the Castle burned down. It is reached by a park dotted with remarkable statues and impressive trees (including one of the first twelve editions in bronze of Bourgeois de Calais's Rodin). Around the Park is worth with children of all ages and/or botany enthusiasts. The Museum's architecture (designed by Roger Bastin) modern and light, opening widely on the Park. The collections show the taste refined and eclectic Warocqué in art and antiques. Temporary exhibitions are always well designed, teaching and living. In short, a site where we will never tire to come back!

  • Beautiful park in which we cross a few ducks. It's a very pleasant walk. The exhibition "of stargate at the comics" is very fun to do. The price of entry is correct (5 euros) and for this price there you have access to the entire Museum. There is a cafeteria which offers of a meal on the go. In summary, very good time.

  • Joli et grand parc, idéal pour balades en famille. Attention, vélos et chiens non autorisés
  • A friend told me to visit this museum that is very unknown. Only 40 minutes from Brussels, I thought it was a good place to go on my birthday. So we did. The temporary exhibition with etches of Rops, Klinger, Kubin and Simon was mind blowing great. And the permanent collection also was a real adventure. The fact that not a lot of people know of this museum is also great, because you can wander around and discover the collection at ease. The park and botanical garden and it's statues were a real delight. And a lot of history to explore too. Really great!
  • There are owls exhibitions.

  • Small Museum of province, very culturally interesting for those who do not have the opportunity to see national museums like the Louvre in Paris, the legacy to St. Petersburg, the Museum of Athens or Cairo. All in a beautiful park with the ruins of the castle of Mariemont.

  • Free the first Sunday of each month. Ideal for a cultural family outing.
