  • The entrance is expensive (9 €), but is free to teachers and other groups. Through an elevator go up to the 5th floor where you can admire the chime (with colourful lighting changed) and go down stairs down through other plants with clock, the lookout, a permanent exhibition on the history of the city, and shop.

  • beautiful belfry, at first glance, which is or was sees far and which is one of the symbols of the city. Leaving the grand place, the route to access is good. When finally you found you at the foot of a huge staircase quite daunting and the sight of this place is very ordinary.

  • There's some walking involved and the belfry is a tight fit, but I was very happy that I visited. Unlike most belfries in Europe this one has an elevator. And there's a nice gift shop/reception area. ...  more »

  • Verny nice to see but the visit is expensive for it's really worth! As a reminder, this is an empty tower, not a castle dungeon, so there's nothing to see inside. Enjoy the park surrounding it on a sunny day and at night when the color lights are on
  • Redone since Mons 2015 after at least 20 years of rehabilitation. The belfry and its gardens are worth visiting at the top of the city of Mons. Tip, leave your car at the bottom of the city and walk you will appreciate especially being at the top. Enjoy your visit.

  • Reopened to the public after years of restoration, this beautiful belfry offers beautiful views across the city on different sides. Organized inside interactively, you can climb up to thirty meters with the elevator, then walk through metal stairs up to the bells. In the evening the colors make it special

  • A beautiful monument, surrounded by a nice Park. Closure of the place, a little too early

  • The critics say that € 9 to go up in the belfry's too cheap. Personally I would say that it is a matter of perspective! The exhibition tracing his history and that of the city, the interactive panorama explaining important points while you see them in real life (lies at a point of view to see all the surrounding area), it was worth! Plus it is free every first Sunday of the month! And new! When the Bell ringer is doing a concert, it is possible to see the bells (area out of public access outside these times). Come at the right time!
