  • It is for I always swallow, it gives me no pleasant feeling such activities to do, but I find it a necessity that this history like other horrific cases in the history of mankind must not be forgotten. Still, it's a learning experience for many that the horror of the war never have experienced up close, I went there to watch multiple additional exhibitions and performances, something more was worth it, and which I am becoming very subdued with the company drove back home

  • Museum now located in modern and appropriate new building opposite the old barracks "Dossin" that during the war years acted as collection and departure point for the deportation to the death camps by Jewish citizens. Documented through appropriate and chronologically mounted presentation of photos, texts, objects, original administrative documents, figures etc. It allows the visitor to understand and sympathize with the untold and massively suffering that the Jewish community of so many innocents and the disgust was too experienced for the racially motivated Babu action by the Nazis during the occupation ' of our country between 1940 and 1944. The museum has the necessary, modern functionalities for the visitor and is located on the edge of the beautiful historic city centre of Mechelen.
