  • The "Baugnez Massacre" is a war crime which it is better not to remember. 17. December 1944 the "Kampfgruppe Peiper German" murdered 84 American soldiers who were disarmed; The American Memorial in Baugnez isn't that a stone wall have rectangular black stones, taking each the name of one of the victims. The exact reason for this barbarism remains uncertain to this day. Better not to think about it. This monument is especially visited by American tourists (or relatives of the victims).
