Place Saint-Lambert, Liege
(1.5/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
See the site of the 8th-century St. Lambert's Cathedral at Place Saint-Lambert, now a central square in front of the former Prince-Bishop's Palace. The foundation of the former cathedral, which stood here for over 1,000 years, is still preserved in the Archéoforum Museum just below the square. You can visit it by following a flight of stairs that lead down to the entrance. The square is also a bus hub for the city, so there is a constant stream of new faces moving through the attraction. The square can be toured quickly, so consider including it on a walking tour of the city. Make Place Saint-Lambert a part of your Liege vacation plans using our Liege vacation route planner.

  • A GREAT time spent with family at the Christmas market! Always more beautiful and more. Unlike other markets, it is not only made food and drinks stalls... There are a lot of nice gifts to make. I love!

  • Sad place Saint Lambert, probably the only place in the world that shows off his poor, his drugs and his ragged. Anything similar elsewhere. Mr Demayer the Mayor prefers the benches of the House Cork it does nothing, has no idea and don't listen to what people say.
