  • Really disappointing exhibition in a beautiful place. If you've never been to it, it's a building to visit. The renovation of the old pool is rather successful (but less than the pool at Roubaix). The reception is not very professional. The "human zoo" exhibition is disappointing. The topic is interesting, well documented, but the analysis is totally absent and really confused presentation. It was almost someone (a Sunday afternoon) in short there seems not to be of strategy

  • A completely gorgeous and very well refurbished building. For € 1 you can visit the building with a guide. We are graves on a charming young man who has well explains the evolution of the building with photos a support and memories because it the known as a pool... Basins were well preserved and highlighted it sy almost worth it in more interesting exhibition has l "inside

  • We wanted to see the exhibition dedicated to human zoos, these exhibitions of men, women and children, an "attraction" often presented at universal or colonial exhibitions. Rather, first, the former swimming pool of the mirror, is really aesthetically beautifully converted into exhibition space. But the show itself was half a disappointment. The iconography is beautiful and varied, and this subject is enough documented - although oriented according to a militant Prism that eventually serve -... but the didactic panels were very redundant, sometimes using the same texts. Comments very (too) politically correct, to the point of hide some updates in perspective; We ended up no longer distinguish between degrading attraction and a little commercial folklore (the breton or Welsh village); it blithely mixed study (approximate times) "to the French" and adaptation to the Belgian sauce (sometimes zoos were supposed to end in war, sometimes we see re-emerge Expo ' 58); It multiplied the inconsistencies, amalgams and factual confusions. In short, the presentation of a work which at first seems scientifically conducted but which results in a messy scenography, and comments on the edge of the common place. A disappointment.

  • One of the centers of the creativity of Cork! A space where you can work in peace, and more architecture is really nice. The place is located a few minutes from the centre of Liège
