Bobbejaanland, Lichtaart
(3.5/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web)
Experience the theme park of one of Belgium's much-loved performers at Bobbejaanland. Founded in 1960 by Bobbejaan Schoepen, a Flemish musician and entertainer, the attraction was owned by the same family until 2004. It began as a performance venue with seating for 1,000 people, but slowly evolved into a theme park with rides; today it boasts over 400 employees. Josée Schoepen, Bobbejaan's wife, also amassed a large collection of Hopi and Navajo artwork, one of the rare collections of Native American art in Europe. The 50 attractions, which will make you scream and laugh in turn, include roller coasters, water slides, traditional carnival rides, and shows. Many of the park's rides are intense, with bragging rights as some of the fastest and longest roller coasters in Europe. Buy tickets online or upon arrival. • It was the 2nd time I went in this park. This time to the period of Halloween... Some attractions open late. The photo shops were not active in the morning. The Park closes too early in the winter (5 pm and 4.30 pm for most attractions.) Regarding the Halloween activities, one was paid, one was closed, but 3 mazes of fear were really well made. Beautiful scenery, beautiful costumes and beautiful same fears if we still laughed! Overall output very positive to do with children + 1.20 m... Something positive: very few gift shops as in some other parks. I recommend this park, go at least once...

  • We went to the Park in November. They promised us to halloween decorations, activities... you come out disappointed. The Park is very old, not very clean. For attractions, these are can be enjoyable for children but for young adults apart from Typhoon, the rest is not worthwhile. The queues are long and we know there are not for how long. The price of food is exorbitant but as in many parks. In three hours we made around the Park. I really do recommend him to lovers of sensations and decorations.

  • What fear was. What was fun, is that many visitors were also dressed up as a ghost, horror. At the haunted houses was the (too) pressure. Of the 5 houses could we visit 2. That was a pity because it is well worth the effort to be there and to overcome your fears. Portions of the park were transformed into horror zone ´ s, also ran There creeps around and you could with their on the picture where they all the time for names, compliment to the actors. Good show by Aaron Crow, you sit on the edge of your seat. All in all worth with Halloween. The park is still extra long open a fireworks show.

  • The park was okay. Somethings could be better. The parking lot was quite far away from the entrance of the park. The toilets just outside of the ticket place where kind of dirty. The ones inside are better. The food is quite overpriced for what you get, 14 euros for most menus in the restaurant. ( fast-food like) There were long waiting rooms at each attraction. It would indeed be useful to have had an inside on how long the waiting time would be. The virtual reality roller-coaster Samsung Mount Mara was the highlight of the the day really cool and a lot of fun.
  • Enough eat possibilities. Almost all attractions were open. I'm missing insight in the waiting times though.
  • A nice attraction park but can earn an extra star if everything was a buy more maintained not the attractions itself but mainly everything around it can use some new paints etc etc
  • very nice, not to much dirt, only the toilets need better cleaning
  • Ok Parc although overall organisation is pretty poor. Unclear signs at attractions where I couldn't tell whether it was open or closed. Should be easy to fix I would think.
