  • Who would visit visiting Kortrijk Texture must not forget. The museum gives a very visual overview of history over the years of the flax industry. It is fascinating, interactive and very informative, both for young and old

  • Yes, indeed, this is the now, the flax museum is gone & replaced by "TEXTURE" opinions differ very much between generations in. ... many have nostalgia for the reality structure of the flax museum. ... it is definitely recommended, it approaches the past with the modern & technological through this time ....; It's definitely a win win situation. so do, you won't regret it. ..

  • In this completely updated flax museum is very clearly shown what flax is and especially what all is done. Of sowing to the process into useful products. Everything very detailed without being boring. Followed by a delicious beer or other consumer (also meals) in the adjacent cosy kaffee and your day. In the summer there is outside for the kids a maze-like planting of high grasses between which they can play to their heart's content.

  • Very worthwhile museum about the rich heritage of South West Flanders and its linen and flax history.
  • Excellent museum about a little topic "flax" but which is rich in discovery. The ground floor is designed for children (after 6 years). The first floor focuses on the socio-economy of the flax on the Leie. The top floor shows examples of typical Courtrai linen weaving. We love. Excellent starting point for then a ride to the city center.
