  • Nicely restored building with a small museum and a garden area which is slowly maturing. Easy to reach with ample parking space.
  • This site is well worth a visit. The Abbey is very nicely restored. Around you have marked hiking trails. For cars, there is plenty of parking.

  • Nice walk around the site, with some nice stops. You get good info on the history of the site, and over the surrounding landscape. Some tasty snacks on the go, with interesting information. You also can walk all the way up to Limburg Lavender. That brings you outside of the site to residential areas, and is equally firmly proceed. That bit of the walk is less interesting. Or that "detour" is worth, it depends how much you get.

  • You can go walking, discover everything on the site ... Church to the monastery is very special and beautiful, a time to be silent. Coast work of Hans Op De Beek also great!!! Terrace at the horse stables are super cozy and friendly service and delicious coffee from beautiful bags and lots of goodies.. We are fan of herkenrode.
