  • Nice church right out of the city. Beautiful above all in the facade, its grey/white colour is charming and unique. Go and find it.
  • Sint-Annakerk is located at Sint-Annaplein, as more is a large roundabout with a small park in the Middle than it is a space. The Church is one of Ghent's newer churches, built in 1851 to replace Sint-Anna chapel from 1644. It was the architect Lodewijk Roelandt, who drew Church, but his drawings, however, never came into full reality. Among other things, the Church should have a large Tower, but it was never built. The unfinished Church was consecrated in 1866. The Church does not belong to the Ghent's churches, there always are open for visits, and I knew when I went out to the fact that I could not enter, but visited it anyway, since it fit on my tour of Ghent.

  • A new Church, but built on the site of the old chapel of St. Anna. Awesome and neat. Traced and Romanesque and Gothic styles. Built two Lodewijk Roelandt and Jacques Van Hoecke.
