  • Good Museum on the last of Napoleon's headquarters. Situated 4 kilometres from the Butte du Lion, consists of five thematic rooms with final video and audio guide. Inside, description of the battlefield, documentation and Emperor worship, armaments, bedroom and kitchen, where she rejoined the Council of war. Outside the garden in which bivaccava the Imperial Guard, a small ossuary and a statue dedicated to Napoleon by Polish and Italian soldiers, built by Louis de Quintana Bellini Trinchi. All can be visited in one and a half hours and contains small games for children and a small shop. You should not have much expectation for this Museum, but the visit is recommended if you have time to spare. In fact it is accessible by bus from the city centre every hour 365 (stop next to the info point) and walk from Belle Alliance, which is a few kilometers. Having Waterloo many attractions, I visited a second time and later reached la Belle Alliance via bus and Hougoumont through country paths. From here you can then take the shuttle and reach the Butte du Lion in minutes.

  • Museum well, scenography and quote interactive. The place is always used during re-enactments by actors of the battle.
