  • Beautiful well maintained castle with beautiful vegetable and flower garden (Garden may be visited by appointment). Beautiful hiking domain that you in any season. Unique location which is used for events, especially in the evening, the Castle offers a magical decorum. There are regular contemporary exhibitions programmed, which surprisingly in the furnished Castle Interior embedded. Both with and without children. Downside: no pleasant or attractive café or restaurant nearby. Do great Brasserie with large garden across the street, in the summer jam-packed with children playing, but the food there is abominable.

  • this is not really a castle, it's more like a palace, it looks really great from the outside, the inside it's not worth seeing: for the ticket price of 10€ you can see a bunch of rooms which look fake...  more »

  • Did not see castle but gardens with exceptionnal collection of fruit trees In all shapes, espaliered, worth the visit, in Nice large gardens
  • An easy location to find about 20 mins by car off the E19,exit at Lennick and follow the brown signs. It is perfectly beautiful and inexpensive day out to castle with gardens with historical interest for everyone, and the staff are always So helpful and welcoming. Every time we have visitors from abroad, Gaasbeek is on my Must See list, typical Belgian architecture of the period and there`s always something new to see. Superb in every way!
  • The Gaasbeek castle is just a few minutes away from Brussels by car (or by bus) and it has a nice museum, garden and park. It was rebuilt by a crazy & free-thinking lady in the 19th century with an idealised vision of the Middle Ages, so it's not the most "authentic" historical experience, but the visit is very well done. The museum staff is friendly, and the audio guide is well done (included in the 10 EUR adult ticket for the visit of the castle). The park is also very pleasant to have a walk afterwards. The castle accepts Sodexo vouchers (Chèques sport & culture).
  • Visited it during Devine Decadence art exhibition (which was amazing btw) and it was amazing experience: the smell, light and feel of every room. Definitely worth a visit.
  • Heel mooi
