(4.5/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps motor-racing circuit is the venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, and of the Spa 24 Hours and 1000 km Spa endurance races. It is also home to the all Volkswagen club event, 25 Hours of Spa, run by the Uniroyal Fun Cup. It is one of the most challenging race tracks in the world, mainly due to its fast, hilly and twisty nature. Spa is a favourite circuit of many racing drivers and fans.Despite its name, the circuit is not in Spa but lies in the vicinity of the town of Francorchamps completely within the boundaries of the municipality of Stavelot. The trackThe triangleDesigned in 1920 by Jules de Thier and Henri Langlois Van Ophem, the original triangle-shaped course used public roads between the Belgian towns of Francorchamps, Malmedy, and Stavelot. The track was intended to have hosted its inaugural race in August 1921, however this event had to be cancelled as there was only one entrant. The first car race was held at the circuit in 1922, and two years later saw the first running of the now famous 24 Hours of Francorchamps race. The circuit was first used for Grand Prix racing in 1925.

  • The greatest circuit, the best views for general admission. There's always a lot going on and the best bit is you can bring in your own beers. Always has a festival atmosphere.  more »
  • This circuit is regularly-and in my opinion quite rightly-described as "the most beautiful of the world"! Each time they visit again, we see that there-despite the already high quality level-still improvements have been made. If the circuit still attract more visitors then it would be financial management picture there might be equally beautiful in appearance than the circuit itself ...:-)

  • The Belgian Grand Prix was an excellent race on a truly spectacular circuit - the problem was with the shambolic organisation. We had payed for a booked car park, reasonably near the circuit, only to ...  more »

  • Great circuit, lovely parcous. They organise a lot of fun events like Renault Sport days. Always fun to go there with the kids!
  • die ganze strecke geffalt mir, die eau rouge, die kemmel am meisten.
  • Lots of free events throughout the summer. There's a walking path that goes all around the track, so you can find the best place to watch a race.
  • Fantastic views of the track visited for the Spa Six hour 2016. I love the sharp turns with hills, seems to be an extremely challenging track. The food is good although expensive, arrive early to avoid traffic.
  • Great track, with great viewing points. Make sure you are prepared to walk up and down hill a lot! The facilities in the paddock are great, but can be basic at the back side of the circuit.
