  • Passionate of beautiful building or just in search of a unique place in the area, the Abbey is a place for you. The ruins are just like a travel in time. Loads of signs around to give you a good insid...  more »
  • Great ruins and a beautiful garden, a nice restaurant and tasting center, we had sandwiches and both a draft and a bottle, yes there's a difference! The bottles are aged and the tap is fresh.  more »
  • Interesting spot. Beautiful grounds. Neat to see all the history over the centuries. Stopped at cafe and enjoyed some of the beer that is brewed at the monastery as well as sampling some of their chee...  more »

  • Very nice abbey. Spent approximately 2 hours here walking the grounds covered with information boards along the way. Take the opportunity to buy Orval beer and cheese straight from the origin.
  • Driving the countryside arriving to the Abbaye itself is worth the trip. Many locals can be seen arriving to the brewery exchanging cases of empty bottles for fresh brew. The people there are friendly and helpful, lots of experience with visitors. The cheese and beer is great, enough said.
  • Magnificent! Words don't describe easily the feelings of peace, history, war and torment! Human all too human 😘❤ "Quel Val d'Or l'Orval!"
  • This Abbaye justifies every single km you have to make.
  • Good very nice brewery, nice environment, must see
