Lake Eupen is an artificial lake near Eupen in eastern Belgium, not far from High Fens. The lake is created by a dam which was built on the river Vesdre in 1938 but inaugurated only in 1950 by Prince Charles of Belgium. The area has a German-speaking population who refer to the river Vesdre as Weser, but which is distinct from the Weser river in North Germany.

  • On the way we decided to stop here. It is a dam and water purification in one. Nice to see but there is but little text and explanation at. The view is beautiful, even in the pouring rain, but with a 15-have you seen.

  • the dam bike tour is a great ballad, the road is macadamised smooth (without holes or potholes) without difficulty, course is hilly, between the shade of fir trees and Sun, to do absolutely (more info; ravel wallonie.be) a little sad not being able to get on the ride d observation, closed, Padlocked for the audience...? a pity because the view from the top must be spectacular 2 nd reproach l ' access to this splendid dam good, as expected the region to promote this small jewel with large colorful panels

  • We went in the fall of Aachen from. Beautiful scenery, great colors and then possibly also with café on the slope in the summer? Definitely recommend!
