  • Diksmuide is north of Ypres 23 min. Not sure what I was supposed to see here. Monuments like the Yser Tower (IJzertoren) and the grand Gate of Peace (IJser Gate) are there....but, OK. Festival setting...  more »

  • The whole tower is a museum, you can go to the top and have a superb view over the city. Admission is 8 euros per person and definitely worth it.
  • Amazing, great view. Also very informational, would sincerely recommend.
  • It's a great view from the roof, I did a bit of sunbathing up there. The museum itself is varied in its delivery of content, with some nice trench reconstructions. Definitely worth the entrance fee if you're in the area.
  • It's a bleak place, every exhibit is bleak, views from the top are great, I never looked back, just wanted to move away. It's worth a visit.
  • For sure worth the visit. 20 floors full of rich information about the horrible Great War. A wonderful view once you reach the top. Outside around the building also a must see.
