  • Walk along this small cemetery and remember that there are about 20 young people under every stone. Admire the artwork of the grieving parents, just before their buried son Peter. Nowhere feel the sadness and futility of war so hard.

  • Sadness is still palpable. Unlike other cemeteries also this is a must. Especially to think that these guys are and above all gebrainwashed were sent but also because it was thought to be INVINCIBLE.

  • Impressive, renovations seem to have been completed. When you are here do not forget to visit Vladslo (with the famous and beautiful statue of Käthe Kollwitz) and the German cemetary in Menen, both just as impressive.
  • Very sombre place. Makes you think about both sides of this terrible war.
  • Very sombre memorial to the losers who have history written by the victorious
  • 44,000 people lie buried in this place. Makes anyone silent.
  • Beautiful quiet place with a good video narrative coming in to the cemetary from the parking lot. Very well maintained and very reflective of a tradegy of war.
