  • Nice, warm, surprised by the presence of the Princess who dedicasait his book and accepted without difficulty the photo sessions. Opportunities for action through puzzles to solve and audio guide effective and living by the option to either read the explanations, listen and hear from the mouth of the current Princess. The highlight is to be invited to the theater by a guide to attend a historic film of the Castle and chimay and this 3-d with special effects. A pure moment of relaxation despite the rain outside

  • The special feature of this castle is that there are only 5 rooms that you may visit. But you may use it yourself. This means if you ask at the Concierge in the old chair or soda may be of more than 200 years old. You're going to see a 3 D movie in the original movie room. You get a tablet as explanation. But you may always ask questions to staff the upper is still used by the current owners

  • The castle of Chimay has existed since the 11th century and is the seat of the Princes of Chimay since XVI century. It has joined an eventful history behind it, the Austrian and the throne of France, and also with the French Revolution. It was restored century in the 19th until it suffered a destructive fire in 1935. The last restoration took place in 2012 and is very successful at least in the rooms on the ground floor, you can also visit.

  • Very nice Castle. Fantastic and super friendly staff. If you're lucky, you might meet some members of the royal family. And the interactive tour (iPad) is original but done very well. We also loved the theatre!
  • Visited Chimay Chateau some 6 years ago and Had a Wonderful Guided tour by Princess Elizabeth . With such an intimate knowledge of the Chateau and its history I think we were given quite a few personal insights that are rarely passed on especially regarding the Shroud of Turin A totally Brilliant visit
  • This is the €9,- worth, iPad-tour with augmented reality-features, a 3D-film in a lovely theatre. The owners really make you feel at home in their château. It has an interesting history which is explained in the tour and nice film. All in all, a must see when you're in the neighborhood.
  • A place full of poetry. An incredible visit... and a real experience when, inside the Castle, you cross the Princess who shares his memories with you. The Castle Theatre is also a splendid place. A real jewel. During the visits, you will see a 3D movie. Many concerts are often held in this theatre, the soul of the Castle.
