  • It is a forest that I appreciate very much alone or accompanied for making discoveries in nature or in historical centres in red-cloister or Groenendael

  • Beautiful forest, astonishing view, perfect for families. I remove a star because it is too overcrowded. Especially when the weather is good
  • An amazing place, on the south-east border between Brussels and Flanders, with bicentenary trees, ideal for hiking or biking in the nature. Easy reach from metro Roodebeek or Herman-Debroux.
  • Ideal for those who have a full day for mountain biking without getting lost. You simply drive back into the city to take a snack. Take a moment with the beautiful views and search the old chapels. Just a few tourists come here.
  • Beautiful and quiet. Nice for a walk or bike ride. Starting with a map will help!
  • Great place to escape the city and enjoy some nature. Never get bored of running around there. Also includes multiple marked walking and running trails.

Where to stay in Brussels

It's easy to find accommodations in Brussels for nearly any budget. Tourists generally gravitate to the area surrounding Grand-Place, the city's main square. Also consider staying near Stephanie Square Centre and Boulevard de Waterloo, which are both centrally located. As Europe's unofficial capital, the city boasts a wealth of high-end hotels for visiting diplomats, concentrated along glitzy Avenue Louise. Those looking for a low-budget option will find a host of hostels scattered around the Grand-Place and within walking distance to the city's main attractions.
