Located just outside the city of Brussels, the glass-covered greenhouses shelter thousands of species of plants and flowers, commissioned by King Leopold II as a series of all-weather pleasure gardens. You'll find a chapel in the greenhouses, nicknamed the "Iron Church." Wear comfortable shoes to tour the huge complex, which covers 2.5 hectares (6 acres).   • It is great location where once can walk or cycle around the lakes of brussels. There is not much traffic 
  • Fuchsias are splendid, in greenhouses it smells super good flowers, exotic corner is awesome!

  • This glasshouses are only open certain days in the year, so check out before going there, fabulous large glass houses, with a lot of very nice flowers, plants and tropical trees.

  • Stunning floral and plant displays - the walkway of fuchsias is amazing. Beautiful grounds. Many steps and uneven pathways. Only open 3 weeks per year. Accessible by public transportation. HIGHLY recommended.
