Rue Neuve, Brussels

(1.6/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web)
The second most popular shopping street in Belgium, the pedestrian thoroughfare of Rue Neuve is lined with luxury boutiques. The upper floors of the buildings represent some of the most expensive residential flats in the city. The street runs from Place Charles Rogier to Place de la Monnaie with hundreds of shops in between. If exclusive shopping isn't your cup of tea, you can still pop into one of the many chocolate shops to buy some traditional Belgian candies. In the center of the street you may notice an antiquated building that stands out from the predominantly modern architecture. This is the Church of Our Lady of Finistere, a church that was once the avenue's namesake. Before you head to Brussels, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Brussels tour planner, to make sure you see all that Brussels has to offer, including Rue Neuve.

  • Not unlike many other streets in many cities. Here there is a marked concentration of shops known. Here there are no kioskes or souvenirs stores such as those that proliferate around the grand place. If there is, check out the square donates martyrs. Not much to see but since I was there ...

  • Those who are overwhelmed with pathos, certainly not here. Rue Neuve-Brussels Centre shopping for srednestatichnogo tourists, most of which we are a part. Therefore, the marks are not here pathos and democratic-Zara, H&M and other miscellaneous Bershki with Adidasami. Shopping center of happiness-department store Inno. Chocolate in Leonidas. Not as expensive as other brands, and beautifully gift. And, of course, need to eat Belgian waffles on the street. And you will be happy Shopaholic.

  • This area I found kinda dirty. When traveling to Europe I have found most of the cites pretty clean but this street had a ton of garbage all over it. It was just ok otherwise. Some interesting shops a...  more »
