Rue Neuve, Brussels

Categories: Neighborhoods, Shopping, Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
1.6/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web
The second most popular shopping street in Belgium, the pedestrian thoroughfare of Rue Neuve is lined with luxury boutiques. The upper floors of the buildings represent some of the most expensive residential flats in the city. The street runs from Place Charles Rogier to Place de la Monnaie with hundreds of shops in between. If exclusive shopping isn't your cup of tea, you can still pop into one of the many chocolate shops to buy some traditional Belgian candies. In the center of the street you may notice an antiquated building that stands out from the predominantly modern architecture. This is the Church of Our Lady of Finistere, a church that was once the avenue's namesake. Before you head to Brussels, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Brussels tour planner, to make sure you see all that Brussels has to offer, including Rue Neuve.
