Rue Neuve, Brussels

Neighborhood
The second most popular shopping street in Belgium, the pedestrian thoroughfare of Rue Neuve is lined with luxury boutiques. The upper floors of the buildings represent some of the most expensive residential flats in the city. The street runs from Place Charles Rogier to Place de la Monnaie with hundreds of shops in between. If exclusive shopping isn't your cup of tea, you can still pop into one of the many chocolate shops to buy some traditional Belgian candies. In the center of the street you may notice an antiquated building that stands out from the predominantly modern architecture. This is the Church of Our Lady of Finistere, a church that was once the avenue's namesake. • Another downtown lined with fashion stores, restaurants, away from the Center to the North. There is a bookstore in the city!

  • Not far from Grand Place and Gare du Nord you have Rue Neuve. I was surprised by the plethora of different shops. It offers everything from clothing, underwear, makeup, designer clothes, electronics, ...  more »
  • For every budget and every style. This pedestrian looks really good, with a street-people go by at any time. The typical shopping area.
