  • It is informative every tank has in depth information. The maps were a bit inaccurate. Location needs a definite upgrade. Doesn't expect any large fish. I gave it a 3 because the location really needs a lot of work. Could also have some interactive things for kids. I would have loved to buy my daughter a gold fish or something at the end. The audio content is also available in English and it very well done
  • It doesn't look like much from the outside. I almost didn't go in but glad I did. The tanks we're clean, the fish were active, and the audio tour was great!
  • decent place.. can host small events too
  • Very informative. Not to impress but to learn the real thing. Take the time to listen the audio explanations. Recommended
  • Lovely little aquarium. Though not big or impressive, it has 48 tanks with small fish (no sharks or sing rays there). However the commentary was very well done, with very interesting stories for each of the displays. The fish appear to be in a good way, with a large number of baby fish too. It cannot be compared to the London Aquarium so do not expect anything fancy, but I did learn quite a bit. I had never seen some of the species on display, and particularly some of the amphibious ones which were fascinating. Worth the detour if you are in Brussels with children.

Where to stay in Brussels

It's easy to find accommodations in Brussels for nearly any budget. Tourists generally gravitate to the area surrounding Grand-Place, the city's main square. Also consider staying near Stephanie Square Centre and Boulevard de Waterloo, which are both centrally located. As Europe's unofficial capital, the city boasts a wealth of high-end hotels for visiting diplomats, concentrated along glitzy Avenue Louise. Those looking for a low-budget option will find a host of hostels scattered around the Grand-Place and within walking distance to the city's main attractions.
