  • EU idea is longer than just last couple of years. Exhibition presents how it came to life and what it is today from organizational perspective.  more »

  • Simply awesome! Unfortunately I didn't have much time to explore and read everything. I might have missed it but would be great to be able to buy a book with all information, images and facts exhibited in Parlamentarium. Would highly recommend!
  • I had low expectation for my first visit, but was very positively surprised by this museum. It takes on the challenge of presenting the complicated history of the EU parliament in relation to the EU construction, and manages to create a compelling and thought-provoking story through smart museography and many interesting documents. The attempt to create a space for all Europeans, with all their cultures and, most importantly, all their languages, is an interesting and uplifting (albeit messy) experience. I found the second part of the museum, on the "successes" of the EU Parliament, less compelling and I came out of it with a little aftertaste of propaganda. I would have preferred a more honest assessment of the successes and challenges and the reality of power dynamics in contemporary EU lawmaking. Nevertheless, the museum is well worth a visit and a commendable effort by an EU institution to reach out to its citizens.
  • The Parlamentarium has an excellent self-guided tour free of charge which teaches you a lot about European history and politics. It's very interactive and engaging, with a focus on individual citizens' experiences living in the EU.
  • Interesting place to find out about the EU parliament. Would be improved by more information about individual policies that have been passed previously
  • Great place to learn about European Union and Free of charge. Little bit annoying the security check like you are at the airport :-) Friendly and helpful staff but sometimes I felt unprofessional manners, considering its environment, when they laugh of talk to each others. Probably there is no internal policy on this. Anyway, it is my opinion. All the rooms are interactive and it is better learning. Recommended while in Brussels. I enjoyed!
