Stroll the promenades of a grand urban park at Parc du Cinquantenaire, home of the Arc du Cinquantenaire. The 19th century saw the addition of the triumphal arch for Belgium's 50th anniversary as an independent nation. Three museums occupy the northern part of the park: the Royal Military Museum, Autoworld, and the Cinquantenaire Museum. A 19th-century monument called the Temple of Human Passions and a Great Mosque take up the northwest corner of the park. The buildings at the corners of the park complement the arch's neoclassical grandeur with their domes and rotundas, and the center is dominated by an esplanade where you can walk through the landscaped greenery. A very beautiful landscape in Bruxelles: the park is quiet, well-kept and the natural part was really fine. The monuments in the park were beautiful too. It needs a visit

Beautiful, nice flowers. Truly a great place to relax with friends or family in. A bit overcrowded sometimes , though that’s understandable, as it is a great park. You can also see some monuments and some historical architecture. Has space for various activities, and a variety of different places - more shaded, more open. Truly a great park.

I absolutely adore this park, it's so beautiful and is surrounded with lovely historical buildings and stunning beds of flowers and lots of seating areas both benches and simply on the green grass. This is my third or fourth time here, only this time I was able to show my husband where I used to work as a nanny. Highly recommended :) ❤️ 🇧🇪

I love this park! It is very well maintained and beautiful. It is a great place to go for a walk or a run. This park is centrally located and easily accessible. It is next to the European Commission HQ. If you like museums then there are many museums around the park.

I walked the grounds a bit, quite interesting for a park! The structures around were pretty cool to look at, and the park was quite peaceful. The apparently only bathroom around, by an in-park cafe, had a huge line, so I'd not choose here if you need to go to the bathroom!

Nice park, close to the European quarter. However, it's rather urban compared to the big parks in the North and East of Brussels. It has a running track, a football pitch, a basketball court, a playground and even an open air bar between May and October.
