  • Beautiful small Museum near the Sablon that you learn common with erotica from all over the world and from all times. Recommended if you like and you wonder are looking for trinkets.

  • Lovely curated, more than 600 pieces from a private collection. If you are interested in the portrayal of erotics over the past centuries this is definitely worth going. Very nice curators and guides, that help you out with anything you would like to know.
  • Somewhat comprehensive museum with an impressive personal collection of over 600 pieces of art, in a small house which the owner, Dr Guy Martens, has bought for the very purpose of hosting his collection as a museum. An establishment of fine art for connoisseurs of history of art, which makes appear the Amsterdam museum of eroticism almost as a trivial sex shop.
  • Awesome small museum! Spend some time looking at the art otherwise you will think it didn't worth the money, but it does!
  • EUR10 per person for a museum of this size is of course a lot, but it is totally worth paying to see the decent collection of its type worldwide over the centuries.
  • You have to ring a doorbell to get in, so it seems a bit like entering someone's house. This is the private collection which one man has accrued over his lifetime. We were guided around by a lovely and very informative woman who explained the history of each of the pieces and then left us to browse. A very unique and unusual experience!

Where to stay in Brussels

It's easy to find accommodations in Brussels for nearly any budget. Tourists generally gravitate to the area surrounding Grand-Place, the city's main square. Also consider staying near Stephanie Square Centre and Boulevard de Waterloo, which are both centrally located. As Europe's unofficial capital, the city boasts a wealth of high-end hotels for visiting diplomats, concentrated along glitzy Avenue Louise. Those looking for a low-budget option will find a host of hostels scattered around the Grand-Place and within walking distance to the city's main attractions.
