  • A Sunday afternoon and a desire to visit... direction the cinquantenaire. An entrance facing the Park, but that is not the road; It is probably for this reason that we don't never went there. Main hall, two possibilities for two different tours. We decide to take left direction, Roman and Greek Antiquity, the Islamic world, Egypt of the Pharaohs, native Americans and American Indians, pre-Columbian civilizations, the Indonesia and China upstairs, the Japan, the India and the Nepal... 4 hours of visit and we have not seen half of the Museum! Wonderful permanent collections. Some quite remarkable to Miss pieces. We will be back regularly because the atmosphere of this museum is very nice. Lights, atmospheres and the development of the objects have conquered us. Discover without delay. It should be noted that the Museum Shop offers beautiful books, objects and jewelry; to visit to spoil your loved ones.

  • The temporary "UKIYO-E" on the most beautiful exhibition prints Japanese. These are that the treasures of the Museum that are presented to us. This collection is a rare and must be seen and even revisited because there is a change at the mid-point of the works for the sake of protection and avoid light damage. Small regrets, what a little later that I learned the change of the parts shown. Take lot of time to go admire what is unique

  • Great collection of objects from various periods and origins. Many rooms to visit on several floors - allow plenty of time in front of you! As schedules are rather tight... (10 17 h). very nice Roman collection, as well as Egyptian (from :) many mummies). But do not neglect to the Asian collections, or the room dedicated to the Merovingians. Unfortunately we did not have time to do everything - or even assess the rooms at their fair value, being limited by time. Allow at least 3 hours to see it all.
