  • Beautiful old palace which describes the history of Belgium. Very many old objects, which are nicely described. Very much to see in a modern way.

  • The belle vue part of the museum is not that interesting. Be prepared to read massive amounts of text if you want to get anything out of your visit.
  • Cool museum if you want to learn about the history of Brussels. Alot of it is underground, which is cool. Give yourself a couple of hours to go through this museum.
  • Interesting, but quite brief. Check out the nearby ruins of the Coudenberg palace (actually underground but the entrance is right next to this place), and be careful about eating at the cafe here because it's not only overpriced but terrible food, and people have been known to be ill from eating here, myself included.
  • You can go to this place and (literally) touch the history of Brussels ! I have to go a second time !
  • If you want to know about the origin and history of the Belgian state, and monarchy, this is the place to be.
