  • The hot chocolate that was served was barely lukewarm. The place was empty seeds, so it is excluded any motivation due to overlapping of orders. 2 hot chocolates paid € 9, impossible! Only positive note: different chocolates are vegan, albeit at the price of 1 € per one ...

  • Let's take a break after a long hike, what could be better than a good hot chocolate and two cookies ... too bad the hot chocolate was a bit stretched and no cookies, biscuits, waffles, no nothing ... just two chocolates as tasting and many greetings. Courteous but under sized, long waits and no Wi-Fi ... Come on we can improve!

  • Passing through Brussels and influenced by positive reviews from trip advisor, I wanted to test this chocolatier. Already the shop is quite old game and is not attractive at all. Labels are written to the going fast on pieces of torn paper, I tick but I think it might be a style... chocolates are not highlighted, in short that does not want to buy. Chocolates are rather expensive, what I took for a sign of quality. I end up buying some orangettes, chocolates to apricots and figs, as well as what seems to be the specialty: "station to hazelnuts". The biggest disappointment came from the latter: "old", bitter taste, edible limit. I check the expiry date: January 2017, is limited but it should be edible! Ditto for the chocolate to apricots, ultra bitter, no pleasure in tasting. Orangettes and figs ok. After reflection, I tell myself that I should follow my instincts and go my way.

  • We visited this shop after having visited some of the big (but industrial) brands in the St.-Hubert gallery. We were just looking at the displays outside when Laurent - preparing for a workshop - noticed us and invited us inside. Next to being a great chocolatier (we have a chocolate business ourselves) he also a charming and very kind human being. Laurent Gerbaud's shops are certainly worth a visit.
  • Given the price, we expected flawless service. Instead of said flawless service, we had to get up to place an order, and the table wasn't clean. Tea was very good, hot chocolate was ok. Toilets were a mess.
  • Very good chocolates, one of the cheaper good chocolatiers in Brussels.
  • Very good chocolate and iced teas, and it is pleased to support a truly local chocolatier, but expect to pay expensive (€ 18 for a box of 150 g)

  • Workshop every Saturday very interesting I advise
