Where to stay in Brussels

It's easy to find accommodations in Brussels for nearly any budget. Tourists generally gravitate to the area surrounding Grand-Place, the city's main square. Also consider staying near Stephanie Square Centre and Boulevard de Waterloo, which are both centrally located. As Europe's unofficial capital, the city boasts a wealth of high-end hotels for visiting diplomats, concentrated along glitzy Avenue Louise. Those looking for a low-budget option will find a host of hostels scattered around the Grand-Place and within walking distance to the city's main attractions.

  • I've been coming to this place for my fix of chocolates for years. Their chocolate coated fruits are the best and the tastes very balanced and refined. Pure chocolate wise, they are good but I like Pierre Hermé too, chocolate coated fruits though, Laurent Gerbaud wins hands down. They have really delicious hot chocolate.
  • Excellent coffee, but the place could be cleaner: my spoon had traces and the sugar pot had dust in it. Excellent latte and pralines.
  • Bean to bar, one of the best in Belgium. The orangettes and the chocolate medals with nuts on top are delicious.
  • Another great small craft chocolatier - creative & welcoming, perfect for swift break in your city walks & picking a few fresh cocoa beans delicacies.
  • Chocolate making experience with the man himself. Very detailed knowledge and great fun.
