  • I went for a chocolate shop with my wife and a group. The lady that we received and taught on the chocolate was very generous and interesting. We had a platter of different kinds of chocolates to let us know the difference between the chocolates. Who likes dark chocolate without too much sugar I was packed. I got the thrill. What interesting tasting. Eventually we made our own pieces of chocolate flavored with pistachios, grapes, shells of dry, berries and other fruits. I recommend it for those who love quality chocolate and others purchased chocolate full of sugar in convenience stores.

  • A great little shop, they will let you do a tasting, walk you through how the chocolates are made and are totally honest about how chocolate is not native to Belgium. The staff is friendly, the produc...  more »
  • The chocolate to the bowl of this site is very rich in flavor, is not very sweet, just enough, what seemed ideal. It is not thick, like what we used in Spain, seemed that you were taking a Cola Cao and that already didn't like us so much. Excessive prices.

  • I've been coming to this place for my fix of chocolates for years. Their chocolate coated fruits are the best and the tastes very balanced and refined. Pure chocolate wise, they are good but I like Pierre Hermé too, chocolate coated fruits though, Laurent Gerbaud wins hands down. They have really delicious hot chocolate.
  • Excellent coffee, but the place could be cleaner: my spoon had traces and the sugar pot had dust in it. Excellent latte and pralines.
  • Bean to bar, one of the best in Belgium. The orangettes and the chocolate medals with nuts on top are delicious.
  • Another great small craft chocolatier - creative & welcoming, perfect for swift break in your city walks & picking a few fresh cocoa beans delicacies.
  • Chocolate making experience with the man himself. Very detailed knowledge and great fun.

Where to stay in Brussels

It's easy to find accommodations in Brussels for nearly any budget. Tourists generally gravitate to the area surrounding Grand-Place, the city's main square. Also consider staying near Stephanie Square Centre and Boulevard de Waterloo, which are both centrally located. As Europe's unofficial capital, the city boasts a wealth of high-end hotels for visiting diplomats, concentrated along glitzy Avenue Louise. Those looking for a low-budget option will find a host of hostels scattered around the Grand-Place and within walking distance to the city's main attractions.
