Where to stay in Brussels

It's easy to find accommodations in Brussels for nearly any budget. Tourists generally gravitate to the area surrounding Grand-Place, the city's main square. Also consider staying near Stephanie Square Centre and Boulevard de Waterloo, which are both centrally located. As Europe's unofficial capital, the city boasts a wealth of high-end hotels for visiting diplomats, concentrated along glitzy Avenue Louise. Those looking for a low-budget option will find a host of hostels scattered around the Grand-Place and within walking distance to the city's main attractions.

  • What a great place to shop. This place has it all. On the bottom floor there is a shop which specializes in honey. This place is a must.  more »
  • Not very please with beggars on the streets though but the city is very nice. We saw the atomium and some other places in brussels.  more »
  • If you need something you can go and shop in city 2 . You have everything you need in this center. Parfum , Rituals, clothes , shoes, jewelry.. After the shopping you can buy something to make at home...  more »

  • Basically the only 'usable' shopping center in Brussels, and with the pedestrian street Rue Neuve, it's a winning combo. Super crowded on Saturdays, direct access to Metro and Tram of Rogier, one finds everything from electronics, through fashion to shoe repair. It's good for 'get shopping done'. Also open on first Sundays, and the second day of Christmas and Easter. Because it's super heavily frequented, stocks in shops often run low faster. Otherwise you have everything nearby, park, hospital/doctors, tourist area... However the center is a constant traffic jam, don't even think about coming here by car in a popular hour.
  • Amazing smell of new. You can find anything - literally. I adore to spend my free time there, it just brings me peace.
  • When you need to buy st, no matters what it is, and you don't want to spend much time walking up and down throu shops and roads you don't know, that's the place you can go, when you're in brussels. a mall, not one the hugest I've ever seen, but a mall...what should i say more? useful but not worthy
