  • Really interesting visit. Certainly not for the faint hearted ... I learnt a great deal. So pleased that times have changed and indeed that I wasn't living in those eras! Well worth the hour spent in ...  more »
  • Small but fun museum. We had a laugh going around but it's not that big. Only 8 euro so worth it. Some excellent picture opportunities  more »
  • Very good collection and explanations of the torture and the items used to inflict it! Extremely well done with wax models and quite family friendly!  more »

  • Fun, and yet inexpensive. They have a lot of things to view/read and replicas of some torture devices. I would definitely recommend...for both amusement and tortuous fun. :)
  • Very good museum (not for kids) It is sad to see how ppl from long ago dreamed up so many ways to give pain to their peers .
  • Only a small museum but very interesting. Lots of things to see considering its size. Very good value for money.
  • Good history of torture. Not for the squeamish or young children.
  • This place is small but worth a look in. Wax works are used to demonstrated the horrid instruments of torture which are annotated by multi-lingual signs. Really interesting and leaves you thankful you don't live in 16th century Europe.
