  • Very eye opening and interesting place. Well worth a visit. Very thought provoking. Excellent value for 7 euros. Will definitely go back but take the kids next time.
  • Although quite small this museum doesn't leave a thing to the imagination! With informative notices against each exhibit (in three different languages) it was easy to get up close and see what torturo...  more »
  • Museum interesting and atypical small background music that adds one more to the already special atmosphere of the place. Everything is interesting and various torture techniques are chilling in the back knowing that they were performed... Models very well done, very realistic. Small candies to the home near the friendly ticket agent. Short as happiness, I highly recommend it!

  • Fun, and yet inexpensive. They have a lot of things to view/read and replicas of some torture devices. I would definitely recommend...for both amusement and tortuous fun. :)
  • Very good museum (not for kids) It is sad to see how ppl from long ago dreamed up so many ways to give pain to their peers .
  • Only a small museum but very interesting. Lots of things to see considering its size. Very good value for money.
  • Good history of torture. Not for the squeamish or young children.
  • This place is small but worth a look in. Wax works are used to demonstrated the horrid instruments of torture which are annotated by multi-lingual signs. Really interesting and leaves you thankful you don't live in 16th century Europe.
