The Chocolate Line Bruges, Bruges

#3 of 57 in Shopping in Bruges
Taste the chocolate Belgium is known for at The Chocolate Line Bruges, which offers samples from chocolate masters Dominique Persoone and Fabienne De Staerke. The shop relies on its classic storefront presentation to draw chocolate lovers inside. It partners a respect for nostalgia with innovative chocolate design. These modern designs are inspired by rock 'n roll and good humor; you may hear stories of sniffing cacao with the Rolling Stones or try the chocolate shooter that propels candy pieces across the room and, hopefully, into your mouth. Peruse the selection of chocolate cosmetics for something especially novel. • This shop we were recommended by the merchants of the city and depicted in our Michelin guide. Slight disappointment. Hospitality is the home "Club classic" that we suffered all weekend: no smiling, talking french under torture, arrogant enough... But let's talk about chocolate. I must say what is. In recent years, the France resumed taste good chocolate and craftsmen (or chefs or Alain Ducasse chocolate for example) can enjoy great products almost anywhere. Suddenly, the Bruges chocolate seems dull and especially gustatively poor, intended to be delivered to cars of tourists... We came to understand that advised us this chocolate for example if not because of the quality of the products but because they are very varied with including: rum, vodka and... cannabis. This is. If this appeals to you, you are a tourist.

  • The Chocolate Line is another one of my favorite stops in Brugge. They were willing to help me find a chocolate I could eat based on my dietary restrictions (I'm a vegan). They clearly label all of their chocolate for allergens such as nuts, dairy, and soy. They have a variety of flavors and fillings and you're allowed to sample any kind of chocolate you may wish! There was something for everyone in my family here, and believe me when I say that we're all picky. VEGANS- all of their dark chocolate is vegan!! (minus some of the fillings). I highly recommend their dark chocolate with vanilla filling- to die for! 100% worth your money and time. Plus, you can even watch their chocolate being made!
  • Very good. The store is beautiful, you can see chocolates being made fresh, indicate the origin of the cocoa. The only negative point is that it is very crowded! go with patience. But the chocolate is wonderful. I bought a little of each type and all of them exceeded my expectations.
  • A variety of flavours are on offer and upon our taste test, they are delicious! I can't recommend a favourite for I liked all of them, so it doesn't help. Price is a bit steep if you were the buy all of them. But whichever one you choose, your palette will thank you. One star off because it's such a busy place and queue management for purchasing chocolates is poor. You could have been waiting for ages and someone else came in later but got served first because they were stood in the right place. If not the chocolates were delicious, I wouldn't have had the patience to wait. Next to the stop there are chocolate churning and making in process to keep young children entertained. It's fun to watch and smell chocolate!
  • Nice spot for sweet, cool and beautiful choclate, either for one's own pleasure or excellent gift ideas. Experimental taste combinations makes it a funny experience. Fancy shop!
  • Great store and the Belgian passion for choclates is very evident in this shop. Highly recommended to at least take a look and to also buy some chocolates.
