The Chocolate Line Bruges, Bruges

4.5
#3 of 42 in Shopping in Bruges
Taste the chocolate Belgium is known for at The Chocolate Line Bruges, which offers samples from chocolate masters Dominique Persoone and Fabienne De Staerke. The shop relies on its classic storefront presentation to draw chocolate lovers inside. It partners a respect for nostalgia with innovative chocolate design. These modern designs are inspired by rock 'n roll and good humor; you may hear stories of sniffing cacao with the Rolling Stones or try the chocolate shooter that propels candy pieces across the room and, hopefully, into your mouth. Peruse the selection of chocolate cosmetics for something especially novel. Put The Chocolate Line Bruges into our Bruges visit app and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • I see super excited people is the best chocolate of her life and blablabla. Charge you 40 euros a kilo it more cheaply, and in my opinion okay to try it, and give you features that is not so.

  • Delicious single shot chocolate made from exotic as well as normal cocoa beans. The chocolate line is a classic variety but there's too many varieties to eat and the desire rings strong. This place is a chocolate lovers dream and not for the weak willed. The owner pays a fair value to the cocoa producers by directly working with them so many of the chocolate options are single shots from specific places of the world.
  • Very helpful and polite staff. The best chocolate we have ever tried with my partner. Its not the cheapest in the town however its worth the price. Do not afraid to try bacon chocolate, its amazing. Good idea to check all the choice online before you go to the shop as they offer a huge range of cholotates and its truly difficult to choose just some of them :) we bought the 500g selection box before shopped for our family. Really pleased :) of course we can all find tastes we do not like but its not the case. Enjoy your time as much as we did. :)
  • Saw the making of some chocolates (the Letter ones) Amazing sight! I got a "Message on a Bar" chocolate which I could request a personal message to be written. Love it!
  • "We are artisanal. No chemicals. No gluten free no egg free no nothing. Maybe that's why we are so good." When we tried to understand if any of the chocolate had egg in it due to our sons egg allergy this is what we were told. So, apparently all their chocolate has egg in it. We tried to understand if it had egg INSIDE it or just cross contamination- our son is fine with "same facility". They refused to entertain our questions. Most other places have been much more accommodating to try and understand the allergy issue. So sorry if we have to make sure our son won't die eating your product. I found the two people we spoke to unhelpful and rude.
  • Great chocolates. Cute shapes and prints. Very smooth, soft, not too sweet ganache. The chocolates taste so fresh. Just right for me.
