  • Beautiful mill which can be reached walking from the center of Brujas.muy care, surrounded by beautiful gardens, is the only one in operation and in original position since the 18th century. Unfortunately we had to that it was closed when we went, but it was still very impressive. Do not miss it. It can also be reached by bicycle renters in the Center.

  • Wonderful walk up and along the original real parts to the city with not one but three windmills. Good to see they still work but not on the day we went.  more »
  • Those mills are situated in a really nice park just on the outskirts of the old city center which, like everything in Bruges, is not a really far walking distance away. It's a quiet place and perfect ...  more »

  • Nice place to chill. When there at sunset and sat at the bottom of the mill. Worth it.
  • Worth the relaxing stroll to see the beautiful windmills! Attraction: 30-40 minute walk from the Burg Square. Throughout the relaxing walk, you will be strolling thru old streets of what is recognized as a World Heritage Site of UNESCO! Your destination is four beautifully maintained windmills by the canal with large patches of grass for picnics or for you to roll on! Key Takeaway: If you don't mind the walk, this is truly worth seeing! You could even do a segway tour and request to visit this destination! Visited September 2016.
  • An interesting relic of past industry- still working! Climb the steep stairs outside and inside for good views and a fascinating insight into milling. Catch the number 6 or 16 bus from the centre of town and then walk back via the other historic sites en route.
  • A nice walk with pretty windmills along the way. Even on a rainy day, it was quite beautiful.
  • One of the four windmills on the path. This one is open to the public.
