  • Definitely worth the visit, especially for people who come from non-european countries and therefore, aren't used to this kind of construction. Beautiful and very well mantained.
  • One of the gate was built in medieval times. In lovely buildings, such as exterior design based on curves and pale color. And through the Middle Road, vehicles and people going back and forth.

  • I knew that door before its renovation. It was just a place of passage rather avoid: too much traffic, pedestrians to depart for cyclists, dirty. This site has enjoyed a great restoration and enrichment of local: a cycling bridge was designed next to the outside has been painted with very bold in its time colors, the new roof,... In short, this is one of the most beautiful gates of the city, and if you come to Bruges by train, I recommend you happen by this first place out of the station, so you can enjoy a beautiful walk along the canal of the city. Then, a short walk will take you directly to the ' t Zand, emblematic place of the city.
